The episode on the 25th will be a recap episode of the first anime season. Season 2 of Boku no Hero Academia will start airing from Saturday March 25th at 5:30pm JST on NTV and YTV. The runtime does not exactly fit into 26 episodes, so the extra time could point to an OVA that may be bundled with the volumes. With an episode of anime running for approximately 24 minutes, it equates to 13 episodes per volume and a total of 26 episodes. Each volume will contain 318 minutes of footage, which is the same runtime as Season which had 13 episodes. Kaze has announced that there will be two Blu-ray and DVD volumes for Boku no Hero Academia Season 2. In the announcement, they unveiled details about the home media release where it revealed that the second season is running for a total of 26 episodes – making it a 2 cour series.
